Celebrate this year's Dancing Classrooms stars!
The Colors of the Rainbow Team Match is an additional celebration beyond the residency for schools that want to give their students a special experience and offer their student body an extra opportunity to foster school spirit.
The Team Match highlights students from all participating schools, shows them that they are part of a larger dancing family, and unites the vast diversity of cultures and ethnicities of all the communities participating in our program each semester. The showcase confirms the core values of the Dancing Classrooms program: mutual respect, tolerance, teamwork, sportsmanship and elegance amongst youth.
The Colors of the Rainbow Team Match is also a wonderful community builder as we bring together students, schools and parent communities that otherwise may not interact. They work together as a larger group to create and share a new “brave space.”
Dancing With Heart: A Heart of Dance Fundraising Reception
Dancing With Heart is an annual fundraising event to celebrate all Heart of Dance has accomplished since our inception in 2015, and to learn more about how we will continue transforming lives in the years to come. This year, Dancing With Heart guests get to watch the entire Colors of the Rainbow Team Match and witness respect, elegance, and teamwork in action! Immediately following the Team Match, Dancing With Heart guests will attend the DWH Fundraising Reception where they can meet the winning team, their parents, and celebrate Heart of Dance.
